Welcome to the Ontario Turfgrass
Symposium (OTS) website.
The Ontario Turfgrass Symposium is a premier education symposium developed exclusively for your turfgrass industry.
The University of Guelph will host the 21st annual Ontario Turfgrass Symposium (OTS), February 22 and 23, 2012 at Rozanski Hall, University of Guelph campus. Speakers from both industry and academia will provide valuable insight reflecting the OTS 2012 theme: Grow Your Knowledge. Delegates will participate in sessions providing up-to-date information responding to the complexities of maintaining healthy turf in today's more restrictive growing environment.
Who should attend? Sports and recreation staff, lawn care and golf course workers plus nursery sod growers can all benefit from the many topics including: new pest and disease controls, turf maintenance tactics, safety and liability issues for turf managers and other industry-related topics.
What do you get? Turf industry leaders and associated staff will benefit from both learning sessions and the ability to network with colleagues in the turf industry. Attending OTS allows for insight into best practices as initiated from leaders in turf sciences both locally, nationally and internationally.
